Sam's Mart is Sending Kids to Camp!

Sam's Mart kicked off their Summer Camp Mobile Campaign today! 42 locations in the Charlotte area are participating in the campaign that will run through July 1. Sam's Mart has a long history of supporting MDA locally, and we are thrilled to have them back on board this year. Sam's Mart employees are asking each customer to donate $1 or $5 to send kids to camp. Each store has a goal of raising $800 to send one kid to MDA Summer Camp, so we know those stores will soon be covered in camp mobiles!

Since 1955, MDA has built bridges and knocked down barriers for kids with muscular dystrophy and related diseases by providing an unforgettable week at MDA Summer Camp. Each year, MDA supports nearly 80 camps across the country. We are lucky to have our very own Camp Bethelwoods in York, SC, where our local kids come every summer at no cost to their families. Camp is a special place where disabilities become abilities. Our summer camp will be held on August 7-12.

We are in need of counselors for this summer's camp and we are currently accepting applications. If you are interested in serving a week at camp as a counselor, please call our office at 704-567-2912 or email Lucas at lcoe@mdausa.org for more details.

Stop in to your local Sam's Mart today and buy a summer camp mobile to support MDA!

Stay tuned for lots of good news from Sam's Mart!
